Katy – RDH, FWCLI, FAAOSH, CHC

Katy Cameron has been a dental hygienist and laser assisted periodontal therapist for 17 years. She studied comprehensive hygiene at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies: an international institute dedicated to the progression of the dental profession. Katy has advanced laser certification with an Associate Fellowship in the use of dental lasers through the World Clinical Laser Institute and is in current pursuit of her Mastership status. As a periodontal therapist, she is successful in her techniques of soft tissue management and understanding of the oral microbiome. Katy emphasizes the integration of nutrition and has expertise in oral systemic health. She is a member of The American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health, proudly holding a Fellowship status with them.

Katy co-hosted the podcast Reflection Health on the Dental Podcast Network created by the founders of the famous A Tale of Two Hygienists Podcast; she was also a guest with one of the most downloaded episodes. She presented at the 2021 American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health Hot Topics event and has hosted several continuing education webinars. Katy spent time as a Specialty Hygiene Coach with Productive Dentist Academy, she especially liked speaking at the hygiene breakout during PDA events. Continuing her education and broadening her experiences, she recently graduated as a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Ultimately, Katy loves connecting with people and finds so much purpose by living out her passion with preventative care.

Staci – Hygienist 

Staci has been a registered dental hygienist for 16 years. She received her Bachelors of Dental Hygiene at East Tennessee State University. Over the past 16 years Staci has expanded her knowledge both in periodontal specialty and general dentistry. Allowing her a well-rounded approach to patient’s oral, dental, and systemic health. Staci is always seeking to provide comfortable periodontal therapy that achieves optimal results! She enjoys connecting and educating her patients on the best approach for them. As a nutritious life certified health coach and Pure Barre instructor, Staci enjoys encouraging patients to live their healthiest, most balanced life! Staci is orginally from Hedersonville, NC. She moved to Montana in 2010 and loves calling this beautiful state her home! When she isn’t at the dental office you will find her outside exploring in the mountains, trail running, dirt biking, mountain biking, or at the Pure Barre Studio.

Heidi – Patient Care Coordinator

Heidi joined 406 Periodontics in December 2019, and brings with her over 30 years of dental experience ranging from pediatric to general. Heidi takes great care and pride in the standard of customer service and patient care we extend to all of our patients. She loves that our goal as an office is to always meet and exceed our patients expectations. She feels very privileged to be part of such an amazing team. Her goal is to always brighten our patients day. Originally from England, Montana has always been Heidi’s home away from home. In her free time she loves to travel with her husband, read books, putter around in her flower beds, and take her two golden girls for long walks.

Shawn – Patient Care Coordinator

Shawn joined our team in September 2022, and she has 15 years of dental administration experience. Shawn appreciates the doctors’ outstanding commitment to the highest level of ethical patient care. She loves working at this office because the staff camaraderie is amazing, and the effortless flow of teamwork is outstanding. 

Shawn is a Minnesota native and moved to Montana in 2006. Outside of work, she enjoys all Montana outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, hunting, four-wheeling and kayaking. She is a huge sports fan, cheering on the MN Wild and MN Gopher hockey, MN Twins baseball and Montana State football. Go Cats!

Ian – Surgical Dental Assistant

Ian joined our team in May 2023, and has a background in Physiology and business. He graduated from University of Colorado Boulder. He loves working at 406 Periodontics because he loves his coworkers and the ability to help people. One of his favorite parts of the job is being able to make a visit to the periodontist an enjoyable experience. Ian assists the doctors in procedures as well as ordering supplies to keep the office running smoothly. He has a cat named Arlo (named after Arlo Guthrie). In his free time Ian enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, including skiing, biking, climbing, rafting, fishing, and rollerblading. He also enjoys cooking and playing bass guitar. 

Uve – Surgical Dental Assistant

Uve started at 406 Periodontics in April 2023. She graduated from Montana State University in 2022 with a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Global Health. Uve is so excited for this opportunity to learn more about Periodontics as a field and to be joining a wonderful new team! Outside of work Uve loves to ski and climb, as well as reading and painting. 

Samantha MA, A-EMT, DAANCE, PTCB – Medical Assistant/ DAANCE Certified Sedation Assistant

Samantha joined our practice in October 2022, after moving to Bozeman from Missoula. Samantha grew up in the Bitterroot Valley before moving to Missoula to pursue her undergrad in human biology. While in Missoula Samantha was an active member of Frenchtown Fire District where she practiced as an EMT/ Firefighter as well as an EMT instructor for seven years. Samantha has over ten years of experience in the surgical setting and successfully completed the Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam (DAANCE). With her extensive experience surrounding surgery and IV sedations, Samantha helps assist in personalized one-on-one care to ensure safe and effective sedations for our patients. In her free time Samantha enjoys hiking, fishing, scuba diving and exploring the area with her boyfriend Brandon and their dog Kalesa. 

Junia – Surgical Dental Assistant

Junia started at 406 Periodontics in May 2023, and has a background in Biochemistry (pre-medicine) and is attending Montana State University with plans to graduate in 2024. Her favorite part of the practice is learning new things daily from great mentors and interacting with a diverse patient demographic that always come with fun and interesting stories. Junia is a great asset to the practice due to her wide range of knowledge and innovation. In her free time Junia loves to bake, travel, fish, and camp. Junia is originally from Havre and loves to spend time with her two younger sisters.
